Asia Exposed - the trailer

Some weeks ago, I blogged about my first 2 days in India. Most of you would have been in the dark about why I was there as I didn't elaborate. Well, wonder no more! I am one of 6 photographers being featured in a documentary series on Channel Newsasia.

ASIA Exposed is a 6-part series that follows established photographers on eye-opening quests in search of the true meaning of their role behind the lens. Through the experience of these 6 individuals, social issues and humanitarian causes are brought to light. For the first time, we will understand the sacrifices they make and the price they pay for their art.

Premiering 29 June, Tuesday, at these times:
- 830pm: sing/ hk/ mnl
- 900pm: del
- 730pm: jkt

EXCLUSIVELY on Channel NewsAsia

View the very nicely edited trailer below. Beware, you will see one drama-mama crying like a fool! More on my experience in another post :)

Children's Season - our first

My client and fellow blogger mum Jayne has been blogging about this event for the past few years and this is the first year I managed to get the family down to the National Museum to attend some of the activities. I must say I was delighted not just by the kiddy activities they had lined up for young visitors, but also by the photo opportunities within the museum. It was well lighted in many areas by big windows and there were plenty of open spaces for little feet to run :) I had a ball watching them have fun and shooting them as well. You can be sure we will be back next year.

Motherhood Exhibition 2010

It's that time of the year again! This was our 5th year running at the Motherhood Exhibition and it was our best year yet.

Not sure if it was the new fengshui, we changed our usual rightmost row booth position to the leftmost row and it paid off on the first and last day of the exhibition, we had the most signups on these days. We also brought down more things this year as it was our first time having such a big booth to ourselves. So the sofa, coffeetable and more canvas displays came along.

It was also the event to launch two new packages, our Teeny Weeny newborn session and the We Are Family photography package. We also gave out our spanking new brochure/catalogue at the fair. Do get one from our studio when you come for your shoot, it better explains all our packages and comes with lots of pictures :)

Thank you sincerely for all your support, without you, we will not be where we are today :) And also special thanks to our client Sarah for bringing us a cake on the first day of the exhibition! It was yummy :D

Till our next event, see you soon!
